Who doesn’t love the Beatles? The JAZZ Collective does, and celebrates their masterful melodies with creative Latin and swing infused arrangements. Their repertoire invites the listener to new heights, and includes some original jazz flavored music and many tasteful standards.
You may know these five virtuosic musicians from the many years and thousands of shows playing with Hazel Miller! They have played individually for huge audiences around the world and bring their experience and playful love of music to every show.
Lifetime professional musicians, Dana Marsh - piano, Rich Lamb - bass, Jeff Nathanson - sax, Peter Olstad - trumpet and Jill Frederickson - drums, round out this energetic quintet that brings a lifelong commitment to playing high-quality creative music.

Live Music | Redhorn Jazz Quintet
Thursday May 23rd
Redhorn is a jazz quintet that pays homage to the legends of Blue Note (the "Motown" of jazz), focusing on tunes from the early 60’s, featuring cool horn harmonies and rich chords. The band features Chris Hansen on trumpet, Neil Kolwey on saxophone, Tom Leifer on guitar, Matt Powelson on bass, and Bret Mann on drums. Many members of this all star lineup have been local fixtures in Boulder's music scene for years, and have played with the likes of local jazz legend Art Lande, toured Europe with bass guitar virtuoso Dean Peer, and have even opened for "his high-ness" Snoop Dogg in Vail, CO.

JAZZ SUPPER CLUB SERIES | The Jocelyn Medina's Brazilian Jazz Quintet
Friday May 24th
The sounds and styles of vocalist/composer Jocelyn Medina cross cultures, creeds and continents. A veteran of the New York jazz scene, she is fast becoming a strong, new element of the Denver/Boulder music community.
Fresh from recording in Brazil, Jocelyn brings her Brazilian Jazz Quintet to The Full Cycle Cafe with Boulder-area masters Bill Kopper on guitar, Bill McCrossen on bass, Raoul Rossiter on drums and percussion and Greg Laliberte on flute. Listeners can anticipate an eclectic mix of Brazilian choro, samba, bossa nova, Brazilian-inspired originals and Latin takes on standards.

Rico Jones returns to Boulder from NYC to perform one night only at The Full Cycle Cafe with his all-star Jazz Quintet: The Sum of All Colors. They willperform an evening of America’s great straight ahead jazz repertoire. These musicians have come together for this one event and it is not to be missed! Featuring Harold Summey-drums, Bill McCrossen-bass, Eric Gunnison-piano, Brad Goode-trumpet, Marcus Firillo-guitar.
Rico Jones is one of the top young saxophonists of his generation. He will perform an evening of Jazz Standards, Straight Ahead, Ballads, Bebop and whatever they cook up. Rico and two of his ensembles received a total of 4 Downbeat awards for the 2020 edition of their SDA program including “Jazz Soloist”, “Small Jazz Ensemble” and two awards in the “Latin Jazz” category. Playing with Rico on Saturday night are some of the most esteemed top jazz musicians.
