Russ Chandler, Owner/GM
Russ first moved to Colorado from Florida in 1979, and attended CSU and CU before becoming a software developer and later a CEO for three software businesses, before eventually becoming owner of Full Cycle.
After graduating from CU in 1985, he lived in Arizona, California, and New York City before returning in to Boulder in 1994 where he founded and grew a geographic information systems software company, which he exited from in 2000.
From 2000 until 2013, he served as CEO in two more tech companies before "retiring" into the cycling industry after the 2013 floods when he co-founded a local non-profit in Boulder called Cyclists 4 Community. He worked for a time helping Catalyst Communication launch a local cycling magazine called BikeLife Cities, before taking over Full Cycle in 2016.
Over the past five years, he has transformed Full Cycle from a struggling 34 year old mountain bike and commuter oriented bike shop into a top-notch cycling retail and service center, as well as a community hub through introduction of a coffee shop and beer taproom in 2017, which gained notoriety in its own right as the Tune Up.
Hayden Noel, Bar Manager
I am a 27 year old Colorado Native with a passion for biking, skiing, and anything outdoors.
I have worked in restaurants since I was 15 and have a desire to make a lasting impact in people’s lives through customer service by empowering and elevating employees while taking care of customers in innovative and effective ways. Because kindness is its own reward.
Davide Giardini, Marketing Manager
Davide is originally from Lago di Garda, in the Dolomites of Italy. He moved to the USA in 2005 for a high school foreign exchange student, and ended up staying for college in Rhode Island, where he swam D2 (when he wasn’t windsurfing, kitesurfing, or SUP surfing).
After getting bit by the triathlon racing bug while living in Honolulu, HI for his first real job after graduation, he moved to Boulder in 2012 to pursue an MBA at CU Boulder and race on the CU Triathlon Team. He turned pro in 2014 and raced on the professional triathlon circuits for 7 years (where he achieved 4 pro wins, dozens of podiums, and a World Championship top 10 representing Team USA).
Davide has been the Marketing Manager since 2017. In the same year he founded Endurance Pro Guides, with the vision of showcasing Boulder’s endurance training Mecca to visiting endurance athletes. In 2021 his business has been integrated into Full Cycle’s Tours.
Since 2019 Davide has also been an avid ski mountaineering racer, achieving podium finishes at the prestigious Aspen Power of Four, Breckenridge Five Peaks, and is a regular at the A-Basin Rise & Shine and Eldora Nighthawks weekly race series. In 2021 Davide founded the Boulder Skimo Club, with the vision of building community around the sport of uphill skiing in Boulder.
Sports have always been ingrained in Davide's life: he was the Italian Junior National Champion and New England Regional Champion in alpine skiing, competed in a freestyle windsurfing world-cup event in Fuerteventura (Canary Islands), and on the SUP Surf World Tour trials at Sunset Beach (Oahu, Hawaii).
